Last updated: July 9, 2026 These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Фондация Капка Живот ("Drop Life Foundation", "we", "us", "our") crowdfunding platform at drop-life.org and related services (the "Platform"). By creating an account, starting a campaign, making a donation, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. 1. About the Platform Фондация Капка Живот is a registered charitable foundation that operates a crowdfunding platform to help individuals and communities raise funds for medical treatment, social causes, and other legitimate needs. We review campaigns before they go live and process donations on behalf of campaign organizers. The Platform is not a bank, payment institution, or investment service. We facilitate fundraising and the transfer of donated funds to verified campaign organizers in accordance with these Terms and our internal policies. 2. Definitions "User" — any person who registers an account on the Platform. "Organizer" — a User who creates and manages a fundraising campaign. "Donor" — any person who makes a donation to a campaign, with or without a registered account. "Campaign" — a fundraising page created by an Organizer, including its story, goal, updates, and related content. "Donation" — a voluntary contribution made to a Campaign through the Platform. "Payout" — a transfer of available campaign funds from the Platform to an Organizer, subject to review and approval. 3. Eligibility and Accounts You must be at least 18 years old to register an account or act as an Organizer. Donors under 18 may donate only with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep your profile up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior. 4. Campaigns 4.1. Creating a campaign Only registered and verified Users may create campaigns. By submitting a campaign, you confirm that: - the information provided is truthful, complete, and not misleading; - you have the legal right and, where applicable, consent to raise funds for the stated beneficiary; - the funds will be used for the purpose described in the campaign; - you will comply with applicable laws, including tax and reporting obligations. 4.2. Review and approval All campaigns are reviewed by our team before publication. We may request supporting documents (medical records, invoices, identity documents, etc.) and may reject, pause, or remove campaigns that do not meet our standards or appear fraudulent. 4.3. Campaign content You must not publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or that infringes third-party rights. We may edit, hide, or remove campaign content at our discretion. 4.4. Campaign updates Organizers should post regular, honest updates about how funds are being used and the beneficiary's progress. Failure to provide updates may delay or block payouts. 5. Donations 5.1. Voluntary nature Donations are voluntary gifts. Except where required by law or explicitly stated on the Platform, donations are non-refundable once successfully processed. 5.2. Payment methods We accept card payments (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) via Stripe, as well as manual bank transfers where offered. Donations are processed in EUR unless otherwise stated. 5.3. Guest donations Donors may contribute without registering an account by providing an email address and optional name or message. Anonymous donations are supported where the payment method allows. 5.4. No guarantee We do not guarantee that any campaign will reach its goal or that donated funds will achieve the intended outcome. Donors should review campaign information carefully before donating. 6. Fees and Costs Creating and running a campaign on the Platform is free for Organizers. We do not charge Organizers a platform fee in the current version of the service. Payment processors (e.g. Stripe) may charge transaction fees that are deducted from the donation amount before it is credited to the campaign balance. Any applicable fees are disclosed during the donation process. 7. Payouts 7.1. Available balance A campaign's available balance equals succeeded donations minus refunds and completed payouts. Only succeeded donations count toward the raised amount displayed on the campaign page. 7.2. Requesting a payout Organizers may request a payout when there is an available balance. Each request is reviewed by our team. We may request additional documentation before releasing funds. 7.3. Use of funds Payouts must be used for the purpose stated in the campaign. Organizers must not use donated funds for personal expenses unrelated to the campaign purpose. Misuse of funds may result in account termination and legal action. 7.4. Timing We aim to process approved payouts promptly, but processing times depend on verification requirements, banking schedules, and applicable regulations. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party payment providers or banks. 8. Prohibited Conduct You must not: - create fake campaigns or misrepresent the beneficiary, need, or use of funds; - use the Platform for money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illegal activity; - impersonate another person or entity; - attempt to circumvent our review, payout, or security processes; - scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Platform; - use donated funds for purposes other than those disclosed in the campaign. 9. Intellectual Property Campaign content you submit remains yours, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and promote it on the Platform and in our communications for the purpose of operating and promoting the service. The Platform's name, logo, design, and software are owned by Фондация Капка Живот or its licensors. You may not use our branding without prior written consent. 10. Privacy Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data. By using the Platform, you also agree to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. 11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We are not a party to the agreement between Organizers and Donors regarding the use of funds. We do not guarantee the accuracy of campaign content, which is the responsibility of the Organizer. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Фондация Капка Живот and its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of donations, loss of data, or reliance on campaign information. Our total liability for any claim related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount of fees (if any) you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or EUR 100, whichever is greater. 12. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Фондация Капка Живот from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your campaign content, or your breach of these Terms. 13. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on the Platform and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. 14. Termination We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time if you violate these Terms or if required by law. You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including liability limitations, indemnification, and governing law) will remain in effect. 15. Governing Law and Disputes These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in Sofia, Bulgaria, unless mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.
